Michael Meacher's practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions. Michael partners with clients throughout the life cycle of deals, including acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition. While he works on a range of projects, Michael has particular experience with office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily projects, mixed-use and resort projects, and manufactured housing projects. Michael’s work includes representing private equity companies, commercial real estate developers, manufactured housing development owners and government entities.
Michael regularly assists clients with the joint venture aspects of their transactions, including structuring and negotiating limited liability company agreements.
Michael devotes considerable time to leasing matters, having represented landlords and tenants in all manners of leasing transactions across all property types. Michael’s leasing experience includes work with government entities, including representation of a Californian municipality in the development of an NBA stadium, and a regional transportation district in the redevelopment of a central transportation hub in Colorado. Michael also has extensive experience representing developers of common interest communities, both in the traditional sense (create, market, sell) and by defending challenges brought by unit purchasers under the Federal Interstate Land Sales Act.
Michael is a member of the firm's Community Committee.
