Overview

Laura Salter represents clients in a variety of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial retail properties and office spaces. Laura primarily caters to commercial developers and owner-operators of commercial retail projects and properties.

While in law school, Laura interned with the Consumer Unit of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and the Consumer Section of Colorado Legal Services, where she worked for clients facing bankruptcy and debt collection. She gained further experience as an advocate working as a student attorney in the law school’s clinical program. Laura also served as the Vice President of the student ACLU at the University of Colorado Law and as a Student Mentor with the Women’s Law Caucus. In 2020, Laura won the Anti-Defamation League’s Summer Associate Research Program Memo Competition during her internship at Otten Johnson. Laura’s studies in law school included Real Estate Transactions and Land Use courses, exposure to which informed her interest in pursuing a career in real estate law.
