Seth Cohen is a business attorney, veteran private equity executive and former small business owner with significant transactional, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions experience. Seth leverages his diverse and multi-dimensional background to provide practical, results-oriented counsel to his clients in the corporate, private equity and real estate sectors.
Seth began his career as an associate in the Mergers & Acquisition and Corporate Finance departments at a large, international law firm in New York before becoming VP of Investment Banking at Island Capital Group, LLC; a real estate merchant banking firm in New York. He then owned and operated an automotive franchise in Upstate New York before relocating to Denver.
Seth has significant experience assisting clients with private placement transactions, fund formation and structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and debt and equity financings and restructurings. As part of his transactional practice, Seth assists clients in structuring partnerships and limited liability companies, including providing advice as to capital raising, corporate governance, economic structure and investment strategies.
Seth currently serves on the firm's Marketing & Business Development Committee.
