Overview

Dan Wharton represents clients in commercial real estate transactions and provides strategic advice across a broad spectrum of matters. He assists clients with acquisition, development, disposition, and financing transactions, as well as commercial leasing arrangements and joint venture structuring. Dan also counsels clients on corporate governance issues and private equity transactions, drawing on experience in both law firm and in-house legal environments.

Dan brings a unique client perspective to his practice, having previously served as General Counsel for MountainSeed Appraisal Management, where he managed large-scale commercial real estate transactions and led enterprise-wide contract negotiations. Prior to that in-house role, Dan practiced as an associate in the commercial real estate group at an AmLaw 200 firm, representing clients in transactions across office, hospitality, industrial, and multifamily properties.

Beyond his legal practice, Dan enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, and cheering on his alma mater, the Auburn Tigers, in football.
