Overview
Bob Sherman’s practice focuses on litigation, land use, and real estate development matters. He helps clients navigate disputes and development processes involving property rights, entitlements, fair housing, and zoning issues. Bob works to resolve complex issues through both courtroom advocacy and thoughtful legal counsel, drawing on his background working with federal, state, and local governments.
While in law school, Bob served as an associate editor for the University of Colorado Law Review and as president of the Environmental Law Society. He also gained valuable legal experience through internships with the Boulder County Attorney’s Office and with Governor Jared Polis’s Office of Legal Counsel. Bob also served as a student attorney in Colorado Law’s Getches-Green Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Bob spent the first five years of his career working in Washington, D.C. There, he worked as a state policy advocate with a national conservation organization, a government relations professional working for Midwestern local governments and non-profits, and as an intern for members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Outside the office, Bob enjoys fly fishing, skiing, cooking, and exploring Denver’s live music scene.
