Alyssa L. Knutson

Alyssa Knutson is a certified professional land use planner who assists firm clients in matters related to real estate development and permit approval processes, including annexation, zoning, subdivision, and other development entitlements. Alyssa’s work includes assisting clients in preparing land use applications, conducting due diligence on zoning and other restrictions, staying informed on new or updated code requirements, and navigating the planning issues associated with development.

Before joining Otten Johnson, she worked as a planner for the City of Fort Lupton, Colorado for over eight years. Alyssa also has over ten years of experience working in legal support in different settings, from a corporate in-house legal department, to small and large law firms.  She has also previously served as a planning commissioner for the City of Glendale, Colorado. This background provides her with a unique understanding of how to efficiently assist with moving a project through the land use review process.
