Overview

Stefanie Trujillo works with the firm’s Litigation group on a wide range of real estate dispute matters. Stefanie brings nearly 20 years of experience as a litigation paralegal to bear on each matter, shepherding cases from initial filing and e-discovery through trial, settlement, and, when necessary, appeal. As the behind-the-scenes project manager of a case, Stefanie is responsible for working with clients through discovery, which frequently requires her to work alongside their IT and other internal staff. During trial, she is responsible for providing trial support and running trial presentation software in the courtroom. Stefanie has provided paralegal support in state and federal courts throughout Colorado, as well as for matters before the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Stefanie oversees all of the firm’s eDiscovery and manages complex discovery projects.

Before joining Otten Johnson, Stefanie worked for notable firms and practices in Denver in both the private and public sectors. Working in the legal industry for almost two decades has given her exposure and expertise in a variety of different practice areas, including intellectual property, non-compete and trade secrets, civil and commercial litigation and labor & employment.

Stefanie currently co-chairs the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and also serves on the firm’s Technology Committee.
