Ed Schroeder works with the firm’s Real Estate and Business Transaction & Capital Markets groups. With more than 20 years of experience as a paralegal, he has a broad scope of real estate knowledge from commercial transactions to corporate matters to foreclosures. Ed’s work includes title and survey review and resolution, due diligence, document preparation, entity formation and maintenance, UCC filings and closings. He also works on equity and debt financings, acquisitions and general corporate transactions. Ed frequently supports attorneys and clients throughout the closing process, and he uses his detail-oriented nature to create a smooth, timely transaction for all parties. His previous experience includes working on real estate matters related to the development of an NFL stadium, including on entitlements for surrounding real estate parcels, as well as legal support on the development of data centers for a leading technology company.
