Denver, Colorado – Otten Johnson Robinson Neff + Ragonetti PC (Otten Johnson) is pleased to announce that Melinda Beck and Seth Cohen have been elected shareholders and directors of the firm. Both Seth and Melinda have already distinguished themselves both within the firm as well as in the community. Their new roles were effective January 1, 2020.
Seth Cohen joined the firm in 2018. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (1999) magna cum laude, and was named Order of the Coif. Seth is a business attorney, veteran private equity executive and former small business owner with significant transactional, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions experience. He leverages his diverse and multi-dimensional background to provide practical, results-oriented counsel to his clients in the corporate, private equity and real estate sectors. As a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Business Transactions & Capital Markets Practice Groups, Seth will continue to represent real estate investment and developer clients, private equity funds and business owners. Seth is currently serving on the firm’s Marketing & BD Committee.
Melinda Beck joined the firm in 2019. She earned her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law (1994). She is a real estate and land use attorney with over twenty years of experience in private practice and additional time spent as a government attorney. Her practice focuses on commercial and residential development, land use, real estate purchase and sale transactions, easements, office, warehouse and retail leasing, conservation easement transactions, and oil and gas transactions related to real estate. Melinda's conservation law expertise includes the donation and purchase and sale of conservation easements to land trusts and local governments by private landowners throughout Colorado and nationally. Melinda is part of the firm’s Real Estate and Land Use Practice Groups.
