Overview
Amanda Smith represents landlords and tenants on commercial leasing on a local and national level, working with both landlords who own office, shopping center, strip retail center, mixed-use and industrial properties, as well as large national retail, industrial and office tenants. Amanda also represents clients in complex purchase and sale, real estate finance and development transactions, including transit-oriented projects, office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and high-end residential developments. She often advises clients on land use and development approvals, such as easement and right-of-way issues, annexation, zoning, subdivision and development agreements. She frequently appears before planning commissions and city councils. Amanda is committed to understanding her clients’ business needs and enjoys working closely with them to further their goals.
Amanda grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, and after college began her career as a legal assistant in the international trade practice group at a large Washington, D.C., law firm. During law school, Amanda was a clerk/intern for the Honorable Larry J. Naves at the Denver District Court. Amanda currently serves on the firm’s PR & Marketing Committee.
