Overview
Dimitri Adloff represents banking, real estate, development and business clients in connection with their commercial disputes, including real estate related litigation, loan disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, condemnation cases and business torts. Dimitri focuses on helping clients reach cost-effective and workable solutions that make good business sense. In many cases, he has obtained favorable results through motion practice and negotiated settlements. When it's not possible to resolve a dispute before trial, Dimitri effectively represents his clients at trial. Dimitri has experience litigating in the Colorado state, federal and bankruptcy courts and has also handled both arbitrations and mediations.
While Dimitri’s practice includes all varieties of commercial litigation, over the past several years he has concentrated on representing clients in connection with complex loan disputes and workouts. In particular, Dimitri has handled judicial foreclosures involving numerous mechanics’ lien claims and junior lien interests. He has obtained judgments against both borrowers and guarantors and has negotiated complex deed-in lieu, forbearance and settlement agreements. Dimitri has successfully defended a client against a lender-liability claim.
Dimitri is a frequent contributor to the firm’s real estate blog, www.rockymountainrealestatelaw.com, where his posts often deal with foreclosure, mechanics' liens and other real estate litigation related topics. Fluent in Russian, Dimitri is proud to be able to provide legal counsel to both English- and Russian-speaking clients. Dimitri currently serves on the firm’s PR & Marketing Committee and Recruiting Committee.
