Denver, CO – June 1, 2011 – Colorado Lawyers for the Arts (CoLA) is pleased to announce that they have moved their offices to the law firm of Otten Johnson Robinson Neff + Ragonetti PC (Otten Johnson). Otten Johnson is donating the use of its space to CoLA in its office located at 950 Seventeenth Street, in Denver.

“We are very excited about our new home,” commented CoLA acting executive director Don Knox. “We sincerely appreciate the support that Otten Johnson is giving to us. Our organization cannot survive without both in-kind as well as monetary donations.”

CoLA was created in 1979, with a mission to build on the volunteerism of the legal community and nurture a legacy of educational and legal excellence. The 501(c)3 provides services to the arts community through the contributions, technical assistance and volunteerism of individuals and groups throughout Colorado. CoLA’s mission is to help artists and arts organizations succeed on their own creative abilities so that success or failure does not hinge on legal pitfalls.

“When we heard that CoLA was in need of a new home, we were enthusiastic to find that one of our offices would work well for them,” said Jim Johnson, Otten Johnson’s managing director. “While we support many nonprofits through pro bono work, financial contributions and other means, this is the first time that inviting an organization to office with us has worked for both parties. We are happy to have CoLA working with us.”
